Tutorial

Approximate Completion Time: 2 Minutes

  1. In your page builder, create a two-column section and add all of the content you want to be sticky to the right column in an inner section.

  2. Give this inner section a class name by selecting the advanced menu and going to CSS Classes.  (we recommend using “titlesticky”).
    Click “Update” and preview your page.

  3. In the preview, go to the top bar and select “Customize.” In the Additional CSS option, copy and paste the following code:

    .titlesticky{
    position: sticky;
    position: -webkit-sticky;
    top: 3rem;
    }
    .parent-sticky
    .elementor-widget-wrap {
    display: block!important;
    }

  4. Select “Publish” to apply the changes.

Your sticky column should now be working!

Note: If the sticky column doesn’t seem to be working, there may be a parent section with “overflow:hidden” applied to it. In order for position sticky to work in all browsers, no parent section can have “overflow:hidden.” You can quickly find any ancestors with this property using the following jQuery code in your browser console:

jQuery.fn.filterOverflowHidden = function(){ return this.filter(function(i){ return window.getComputedStyle(this,null).
